We’re One Village — a growing community built for families with one amazing kid (and those still on the fence about it). We’re here to bring together parents and children who share a similar family dynamic and are looking for genuine connection, shared adventures, and friendships that just click.
Born out of the realization that only-child families often find themselves searching for their “people,” One Village exists to fill that gap. To make sure no parent or child feels like they’re doing this on an island of one.
We believe that a “small family” doesn’t mean a “small life.” It means deeper connections, intentional time, and the freedom to create a village that fits you. Whether you’re chasing your little one around the playground, craving grown-up conversation, or just looking for families who get it — you belong here.
Through playdates, meetups, and moments that turn into memories, One Village is your safe, judgment-free corner of the world. A place to laugh, relate, share stories, and remind each other that our version of family is whole, happy, and enough, exactly as it is.

My Why
It started with a simple question from my son: “Can we hang out with friends today?”
That small question sparked something big, the realization that many families like ours, with one child, often miss out on easy connections because everyone else is pulled in so many directions.
So I built One Village, a community for only child families (and those on the fence) to find their people.
Here, we believe connection shouldn’t depend on family size. We gather for the fun, the friendship, and the feeling of being understood.
One Village is for the parents who crave a real village — the ones who want to laugh at the park while their kids play, swap stories over dinner, or just know there’s someone to call on a hard day. It’s a place where every family, no matter their reason for being “one and done,” is met with understanding, compassion, and a warm “you belong here.”
